Design is a growing process. Initially, my primary focus was to create captivating print design, professionally produced and beautifully rendered. Then web design became an integral part of brand extension. Fortunately, many of the early problems encountered in web design have been smoothed out with the adoption of standards like xhtml and css. Designers are now able to gain the reliable control they've been used to with print. Mostly.
Yet, design is more than technical expertise and a communication process. Design is also a service and as with other services, there's the usual kind of service and then there's a special kind of service.
